The SYNC-ADHD pilot study is investigating the feasibility, safety and tolerability of using non-invasive brain stimulation in young adults with ADHD. The researchers are recruiting adults aged 18–30 with ADHD to complete two online sessions and two in-person research sessions at King’s College London. During the study, participants will complete questionnaires and cognitive tasks. They will also use electroencephalography (EEG) to measure brain activity and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to stimulate specific areas of the brain non-invasively. Call for Participants! Researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University are exploring how neurodivergent children experience movement and what shapes enjoyable participation in exercise and physical activity. This study will explore the features of exercise that children with ADHD and/or autism find enjoyable, motivating, and challenging. Using creative participatory methods (e.g., drawing activities and photo-elicitation) the study will identify sensory, social, and environmental factors that influence children’s experiences of exercise. Take part in a new study about masking in ADHD ✨

Take part in a new study about masking in ADHD ✨ Researchers from Cardiff University are examining masking strategies used by young people with ADHD, their effectiveness in mitigating ADHD-related impact and the impact of engaging in these strategies. They want to recruit participants aged 18-25 years old from the UK with an ADHD diagnosis to take part in an online survey to ask them about masking behaviours. They are especially interested in hearing from males or non-binary individuals. A subset of participants who complete the survey, and consent, will be contacted to take part in a 1:1 interview to discuss their experiences of masking further. The survey is for: 👨‍👩‍👧 Parent / caregiver based primarily in the UK of a child who: - is aged 3-5 years in nursery, Reception or other similar educational settings, or is older but you can recall their behaviour and communication during ages 3-5; - has diagnosed ADHD, is undergoing assessment, has been referred/suggested for assessment, or may show ADHD characteristics. OR 👩‍🏫 Early years educator primarily based in the UK working in: - nursery - kindergarten - Reception - or a similar Early Years setting and familiar with the language use and communication style of preschool-aged children with ADHD or possible ADHD characteristics.
